The Create New Music section offers a Setup Wizard where you can open up a predefined ensemble or create one of your own. The Default Document button takes you to a blank document with one staff line where you can start writing your music. The Templates area offers up 31 preset professional templates ready to go for different styles of music. Utilizing SmartScore Lite by Musitek, the Scanning button allows you to scan a finished page of music which then shows up on a score sheet with the notes in their proper place with a high percentage of accuracy.
